IMG wanted to have the ability to display content from its various business entities and to showcase its abilities to potential clients.

The result is an attention grabbing flexible media wall system that is easily updated by the IMG marketing department.

The lighting control system had to meet strict energy and performance guidelines as well as a high tech interface. Clipsal was chosen and the Reflection Keypad was installed for the first time in a US project.
Global control touch screens located at each end of the two reception desks allow turning on and off the entire floor with only one command.

Each office features control of the lighting and motorized shades. The system is set to respond automatically to sunlight to operate the shades and lighting if no one is in the office.

The brief we received from the Yacht Club in Geneva was very straightforward: to illuminate the trophy allowing the fine engraving to be read. The Cup was held in an oblong glass cabinet with a highly reflective bright red metallic background surface; the lighting was quite dull. We replaced the entire lighting system and used 2 full spectrum fiber optic light engines with 20 focusing lenses to provide even lighting across the entire Cup. The result is stunning.

Additionally the owner has a significant art collection and wanted flexibility in the lighting control to allow for many lighting scenes. The Mews library is a show piece of masters’ works and required completely invisible technology so it did not compete with the hand made wood works.

Mews and main house are tied together to allow global control from anywhere in the house.

The project had no clearance in the ceiling to conceal a projector, so the projector was mounted within a wall column on a rotating mount; the mount was then concealed by the owners’ artwork that dropped out of the way via automated lift.

The apartment uses the Homelogic (Elan) system, Lutron lighting control and QED shades. All accessed via wall mounted and wireless touch panels.

The equipment head end was located in closet on shelves rather than a standard rack system to conserve the valuable floor space.

The construction of old timber and wood finishes created challenges to blend technology into a rustic mountain ski chalet.
